Hey everyone, I’m looking for some easy and kid-friendly chores that my 5-year-old can handle. I’m interested in ideas that keep them engaged and maybe even teach them a bit about responsibility. Any suggestions would be really appreciated!
I found that having my kid greet the day by putting his shoes on a mat kept things neat. There was also a spot on a low shelf for his books after reading. We kept these tasks simple and clear so he could handle them without fuss.
I noticed that getting my kid involved early on helps a lot. My little one enjoys simple tasks like tidying up toys or sorting a small pile of laundry. I also tried having him help set the table and put his dishes away after meals. It feels less like a routine chore when we turn it into a shared activity.
