What are the best apps to gamify kids’ chores and make housework fun?

I’m looking for mobile or web applications that help turn kids’ chores into a game. Specifically, I’m interested in apps that use rewards, challenges, or progress tracking to engage children with their household tasks. Any suggestions that have worked well in making housework more fun for kids would be appreciated.

I’ve noticed that a simple, interactive system gets my child more engaged than a complicated one. It’s helped to try out a few apps that let you customize rewards and challenges. We used Wunderlist but i’m not sure if that app is still available right now.

I’ve started introducing small rewards and simple visual progress tracking for my five-year-old. It gets a bit trial and error since I want to encourage independence without over-relying on incentives. I’m curious if anyone has found a good balance between fun and routine that feels natural rather than forced?

I tried GoHenry because it’s like an online bank for kids. Honestly, I’ve used different apps over the years and found that one key is finding an app that feels like a game rather than just a chore tracker.

I found that the magic is in finding an app that not only tracks chores but makes it a team adventure. I once used an app that lets my kids pick their own tasks and earn little tokens they can save for extra playtime. It works well because they feel a sense of control and achievement, and I love seeing them take charge of their responsibilities. The best approach is to let your child experiment with a couple of different options until you find one that fits their style. Even if an app isn’t perfect right away, it teaches them that their time and effort are valued. Sometimes a colorful interface and a little friendly competition are all it takes to light up their enthusiasm .

oh no, personally, I don’t like this app because of its connection to money. I try to avoid tying chores to financial rewards otherwise, kids might not develop a true understanding of why they should do them and will only see it as a way to earn money rather than a responsibility

I downloaded the Levelty app a few days ago after seeing some moms talk about it, and even though I haven’t used it for long, I’m really liking it so far
